Beginner’s Guide to Using Essential Oils for Skincare

posted in: DIY Beauty, Herbalism | 12

My first foray into the world of essential oils was using them in my own beauty products to clear up my skin. Using essential oils for skincare has been a complete game changer!

I used to have terrible acne. It’s hard to put into words exactly how much it can diminish your confidence. If you have this problem, you know exactly what I’m talking about.

Although I tried many commercial products to clear up my skin, what would happen each. and. every. time. is that it would clear up for a couple of weeks and then gradually become worse again until I was back where I started.

It wasn’t until I started using natural products like the ones I made myself that my skin actually improved for good.

If you have acne or if you just want to learn more about taking care of your skin naturally (no matter what skin type you have), you are going to love my new guide! It's all about using essential oils for skincare.

Learning to make my own skin care products and understand the needs of my skin has been incredibly empowering. And my skin has never looked better! I hope that in a short time, you'll be saying the same thing.

I entered the wrong email by accident and noticed at the last moment!! Will it mess up if I do it again?

Hi! To use tea tree oil for clearing up cystic acne… Does it matter if it’s pharmaceutical or therapeutic oil? I’ve been using pharmaceutical “sundown naturals” brand & applying with a qtip directly to acne- it seems to help with non-cystic, smaller acne and irritate the cystic. Also, has not cleared up my skin they will go away & new ones immediately form! I’m so sick of it! I’m 31 years old & ready (been ready) to not look like a broken out teen!! Recently, it’s all on my chin- help!
