Cool as a cucumber - there's just something about that flavor that is so refreshing. This cocktail pairs lime and basil flavors as well to create a combo that is just perfect for hot summer days. You can leave the vodka out if you want a mocktail, too - it will be just as delicious.

Iced cocktail with limes and basil in a glass.

The flavors will infuse as you drink the cocktail. For even more flavor, you can freeze slices of cucumber and use them in place of ice cubes - brilliant, right?

Cucumber Basil Lime Cocktail Recipe

Makes: 1 drink

Prep 2 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 slices of cucumber
  • 2 slices lime
  • 2-3  basil leaves
  • Ice
  • 2 oz vodka
  • 3-4 oz soda water

Directions:

  1. In a glass of choice add cucumbers, lime, and basil.
  2. Add ice.
  3. Add vodka and soda water.
  4. Stir.
  5. Garnish with additional lime or basil.

You can definitely leave out the vodka if you're avoiding alcohol or if you want to make this for a younger crowd. It is delicious either way. Happy sipping!
