Getting a massage is a lovely way to spend an evening, isn't it? Well, you don't have to hit the spa to get a good massage. Trade massages with your other half with this DIY massage oil.

As if you need convincing, massages aren't just fun and romantic - there are a ton of health benefits, too.

As if you need convincing, massages aren't just fun and romantic - there are a ton of health benefits, too.

What are you waiting for?! Get your massage on! Here's a blend I love to use - these essential oils improve circulation, energize, and set a romantic tone. Enjoy! 😉

Energizing Massage Oil

  • 8.5 ounces grapeseed oil
  • 10 drops ylang ylang essential oil
  • 10 drops sweet orange essential oil
  • 5 drops ginger essential oil
  • 5 drops clove bud essential oil

You might be tempted to just add the EOs to an 8.5 oz. bottle of grapeseed oil, but it's better to find a glass bottle or jar to store it in, since essential oils can break down plastic over time. You can get bottles and oils from Starwest Botanicals.

Store it in a cool place away from direct sunlight + it will keep for months. Use it up, lovebirds!

This sounds delightful! I am a big fan of making my own massage oil! I even love to make my own soy massage candles!

I just made some for my husband as a Valentine's Day treat! He works out alot and gets sore but refuses to go get a 'real' massage so I guess I am it! At least I am free 🙂
