I love trying new essential oils, but over the years I've noticed that I still tend to reach for the same bottles over and over again. These are the oils I use most frequently!

Tea tree is missing because I'm out. Boo! You get the idea. 🙂

Lavender

Lavender oil is really helpful for managing anxiety, but I also just love the way it smells so I use it my laundry and cleaning recipes a lot. Lavender oil is also soothing for minor burns and one of the most versatile oils there is.

Tea Tree

I use tea tree oil for acne when I need to, as well as for a ton of first aid purposes. It's antibacterial and antifungal so it's really helpful whenever you need to seriously clean something!

Peppermint

I have never used peppermint more than I do now that I live in a 107 year old house!! It repels unwanted pests like spiders and mice. It's also awesome to have on hand for headaches and nausea, though I usually just drink peppermint tea in those cases.

Rosemary

Rosemary oil offers fabulous immune support AND is beneficial for most skin and hair types. I like to use it in facial oil.

Cedarwood

Another old-house favorite, this one is said to help keep rodents away. I dilute it with hemp oil for dusting!

My favorite essential oil is tea tree oil. I use it in so many things- homemade deodorant, toothpaste, sinus infections and cleaning the house. It was my gateway essential oil- tea tree led me to learn so much about other essential oils! Thanks!

I have not tried using any essential oils yet, but I think one of the first ones that I get will be peppermint oil. We live out in the country, and see a lot of spiders & some ginormous bugs that freak us all out, lol. I'm all for natural ways to get rid of critters. And peppermint oil smells good, too 🙂

My favorite essential oil is basil! I have had recurring ear infections for most of my life- I used to take medications all the time as a child and continued getting sick. Recently while pregnant I had an upper respiratory infection and a DOUBLE ear infection. I was able to put basil on some cotton and put in my ears and within two applications my ears finally unplugged and I got relief! Big time EO fan!!!!

The peppermint was fantastic when I was stuffed up and sick to make me feel better, the lemon I used to help detox my body, and the lavender we use for a soothing spray.
