I am interested in knowing more about vegetable glycerin as I thought it was not a good thing to use. I have been studying (researching) herbs, Essential oils etc. and am trying to use more natural and effective methods. I have many issues which are leading me here. I am making products for myself and family and have had some good responses from friends and family on my pain creams but find some research more confusing. I just received some comfrey powder that is supposed to be good for pain cream and will try it but will be ordering from from Mare Miai (I believe that was the spelling) . I see you use mountain rose herbs Essential oils and I have just been using NOW as they are easier to get here in Canada. I tried Young living but think theirs are more expensive due to the pyramid style selling, Any thoughts on that. I have signed up for your site as any one with info is wonderful in my quest for a healthier life. I have type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, ulcerative colitis, fibromyalgia, and some brain lesions still being investigated but not MS and osteo arthritis with some neck and arm pain (to put it mildly). Thank you for your site

So glad you're here, Donna! I'm not sure what the concern would be about vegetable glycerin, other than possibly GMOs? I'm very comfortable using it. Maybe something for me to write a post about.. 🙂

Hi Donna. I’m Lorraine n I’ve just started reading on this site. I’ve got a few chronic issues too so going organic was our last biggest step n has actually improved my labs along w/ some other things.
I love th though of home made cologne/ aftershave/ perfumes. They cost so much to buy. Especially th one fave I have that’s marketed as clean beauty.
My condition got much worse in 2019 so I’ve been educating myself. One VERY helpful site is Mayo Clinic Connect. They post about different illnesses n patients post questions and results of experimental therapies. It’s moderated too.
Pls feel free to email me about your issues. I’m sure I can share some info n helpful sites. Some of your illnesses r like mine.
I’m also on FB but I don’t check it very often. I’m a Coastie so u can’t miss my page.🇺🇸

Hi there!
Was just wondering if I could substitute almond oil for the vegetable glycerin?
Thanks!

The glycerine helps the scent develop and linger on your skin. You can leave it out, but the scent won't last as long. 🙂

Killer idea! Any recommendations for something other that tea tree in this blend? I struggle with the Tea Tree scent as a cologne.
